I had not done these tracks for a while so it was good to combine them in a leisurely loop.  The wildlife was good with plenty of reptiles including a nice monitor. Did not see any particularly interesting birds unfotunately but it was a reasonable ride none the less at just under 70 km. The park is very nice and rarely has an over-abundance of annoying tourists. This was a three day walk over sections 11 and 12 of the Larapinta trail.  Sadly we did not have time to do all of the trail.Mt Sonder was the first part of the walk and it easily used up the best part of a day although it was well worth it. type='text'>Capertee</title><summary type='text'>Went back to the Capertee and saw lots of lovely birds including the mythical turquoise parrot.It was very nice and the Glen Davis campsite is an amazing place with the strangest little shop that never sells anything or has any customers.
