American Golden plover

Last weekend with Iain and his parents we decided to go and have a look for the American Golden Plover that has been hanging around boat harbour.

Yengo again

Went to the yengo yesterday with Adelle and managed to see a painted button quail as well as an extremely friendly lace monitor.

Baza spotting

Well thanks to birding Aus we had a tip off on where a pair of Pacific Baza were nesting so with a near certain tick we decided to venture out.

Lady Carrington Drive

Went for a walk to spot the flocks of Pacific Bazas that supposedly live on Lady Carrington Drive.
Did not see any Bazas but we did see a lot of other wildlife.

Reptile park

Adelle drove me to the reptile park on the weekend, it was hard to tell what was more entertaining the driving or the reptiles. Luckily Australia is reasonably flat so there were not too many hillstarts.

The mighty land mullet as magnificent as I had always imagined.

Bush Stone-curlew
Thought I might have had a legitimate tick until I saw the sign for it on the outside of the enclosure.
