Once upon a time I went climbing in Nowra a few months ago at thompsons point and this is the only photo I have to show for it. The campsite opposite the cliffs is very good and allows you to borrow kayaks to paddle across the river.

Holy cow! That's gorgeous! You might be able to find a view similar to that in America, but the water would be scummier, the sky would have at least 3 power lines darting across it, and there would be a family of four fat people eating burgers under a tarp on the rock... and there would be handrails all over the place.

Yes it is a nice spot made all the more so due to the quality of the climbing.
