We went for a kayak a couple of weekends ago in Bundeena with my father. Saw a hobby which was good as it was about time. Also got some very good views of an azure kingfisher.
Sure is was not just a Kestrel? ;-) Not bad at all - Kayaking sound like a bit of fun, where are the pictures - I thought that your L-lens was waterproof? ;-)
Pretty sure, it is the hobby that has the black band across the tail isn't it? I gave the L lens a rest for that trip which was unfortunate as it loves a bit of water.
