Well a few weeks ago Adelle and I did the Travers Sabine walk in Nelson Lakes NZ.
It is a reasonably straight forward tramp that gets above the bushline in a few places and takes anything from 5 to 8 days, we did it leisurely in 7 with a nice side trip to blue lake.
The weather was very warm for the time of year but not too crowded with no more than one or two other people at the huts.
The next tramp might have to be a traverse of the princess range if I can find someone to come along although it wouldn't be too bad a solo walk.
Near lakehead hut at the start of the walk.
A friendly South Island robin, they were rather plentiful along the track, which was nice to see.
Hmmmm
