Honeymoon part XII

The final part of the honeymoon saga.
After spending most of the first day at Uluru it was time to visit the Olgas/Kata Tjuta.
The olgas are a great place and have a reasonably good walk called the valley of the winds which is well worth doing.

There were even wild flowers.

The rock was also a nice solid conglomerate unlike the flakey stuff on Uluru, would be quite good for climbing although rather unprotectable short of wacking a few good bolts in.

Keen tramper.

Great landscape!!
It seems that shabby old consumer zoom of yours takes decent portraits after all ;-)
One of my friends pointed out that some of my panos could have used a fair bit of optimization - can't remember who ... :-) - but it makes me happy to see that others have similar trouble :-D Your trees are nice but I will bet you didn't lock the exposure settings ... or the Australian army was conducting a nuclear bomb test out to the right while you were shooting away, hence the bright and overexposed sky(?) :-D

Cheers

Yes I didn't adjust the exposure properly on one of the photos. Still I've seen worse.

You are going to be waiting a very long time if you want to see crowns.
